Sort of depends on the site. Voting type site posts tend to be pretty spammy, but may be okay in the promo forum. Unless it is for a membership site, in which case, sites have to be in SpookyCash or you need a specific written exception.

try sending them a "personal message" asking about the site in question. its private enough that even if they say no to it, you won't have to worry about asking, and mentioning, the site in an area that the rest of us can see.
