I think red is supposed to excite people, but not necessarily in a happy way, more like it makes bulls mad. But I'm skeptical about color theory. I think colors hit different people different ways. Some psychologists believe that different people literally see different colors different ways. Like we might agree that dandelion stems are green but be seeing completely different things when we look at them.

For Diffrent Shades: Liche Purple is awesome, some other great and awesome shades are: Tentacle Pink, Elf Flesh, Pool Blue, Midnight Blue, Chaos Black, Blood Red, Skull White, Antique White, and lots of other cool shades.

I think lots of people have different reason for not going. A couple I know won't go b/c they're having a baby. I can't go for lack of funds (it's actually a somewhat expensive event). There's also that reason that it's been attracting a lot of people who don't contribute to the event in any way-- they throw beer cans & cigs all over the desert (it's a leave-no-trace type event), ogle girls like it's a frat party, and generally show no respect for the environment or the true-hearted burner. Some people can't handle the high altitude, 100 degree desert anymore. And some others call it a "hippie event", which is not true. But I'm definitely going in 2005, though.
