I'm obsessed with controlling myself-- hence, I don't drink or do drugs, as it gives me less of a reign over what I am doing.

I consider meat-- any meat, alive or dead, including flesh, blood, veins and arteries-- incredibly important and beautiful, and eating it to be a (quietly) spiritual experience. I consider it beautiful in an aesthetic fashion, though; I don't get off on pictures of steaks.

    Well, maybe sirloin.

Also: I tend to gnaw on the shoulders of people I know whenever I hug them; I always open kit-kats by running my finger through the foil; I shower every day without fail, using a blend of two shampoos; I also weigh myself frequently; I play M:TG (weeps); I collect ringpulls-- have for the last five years; I sleep naked whenever it's convenient, and *never* wear underwear; I will not let anyone else touch my gaming dice-- with very few, and often only temporary, exceptions (think Bob Herzog- yeah, it's his fault, too, actually); I adore phoning people and rack up huge bills; Punctuating sentences is a pleasure for me: I don't shy from it; indeed, complex sentences are a breeze-- and one I enjoy; in fact, I'm a spelling, grammar and punctuation freak!; I despise using calculators; and I talk about myself too much.

Well when solicitors or telemarketers call my house, I like to swear at them, or act as if I'm Indian.

I also have a bad habit of getting trashed before important events. I remember in high school, before every homecoming or coming home, even prom.....I would drink so heavily the day before and go with the worst hangover....or I would slip little bottles of alcohol in my purse and drink it the whole time.

The other one, is that I have a habit of flirting with older men. I remember when I was 15, I was flirting with a 40 yr old....but he was sooo good looking! I also have a habit of spending a shitload of money on shoes. I serisously have fetishes with older men and stilettos.

    www.grouphug.com

possibly the only thing that can stop me from doing anything important, i could read that site for days on end.

im addicted to cola, im obsessed with unique body mods, not your run o the mill tattoo or ear/nose/tongue piercing, the freaky shit :P scarification, branding, tongue splitting, unusual piercings etc.

my worst habit would be im too laidback, its to the point where i really couldnt give a shit about anything, and the only thing that will get a rise out of me is if it touches on one of my pet peeves.

Actually my weirdest habit is to get up in the middle of the night and light candles and watch Rudolph Valentino films and drink tea... I really do believe that Rudy lives in my apartment. He "allows" my boyfriend to come over, only because he goes into his spirit!!!

This is further proof that breast implants cause insanity!!!

Me too... I think I drink nearly three gallons a day (18 hr. period)

Also.. I brush my hair about a million times a day. It's pretty long and thick, so if I dont it gets pretty frizzy.

I know, but that can get to be really waring after a while. I do that too, I always listen to their problems, they talk and talk and talk and after a while it is just THEM... They get so used to talking about themselves, that YOU do not matter anymore. YOU are just there to listen to them talk about themselves.

It can be a drain. Also, they start to lose respect for you. But I do it anyway. I don't know why. Too nice.

When I am sitting at home I am always sitting with my pants unzipped and my hand on my nuts...I dont do it all the time but ALOT...I'm not playing with myself, just keeping the upper hand on things...

And I am really OCD about the way I store things on my PC...All the files of a certain type are named in a specific manner and put away in their respective places...Especially my music collection...

I gesture with my hands whenever I talk...infact I'm probably doing it inbetween words while I type this.

Uh... Assam is the name of an Indian province, and the tea which comes from it; many companies produce tea with leaves from that region.

PG Tips are a company that makes a generic, fairly weak tea; Twinings does a nice selection of different teas, such as Earl Grey, Ceylon, or Assam. I'd go for Twining's Assam for a nice, strong cuppa.

There are, however, many different companies and many different tyes of tea. And Marks and Spencers? Don't make me laugh. That bloody company should stick to underwear-- what it started out selling-- and quit it with their crappy frozen specialist foods. They're pathetic.

Yeah, Twinings is always a good choice, and my persional favourite, though there are a number of different companies which produce it... heh, I normally buy it from the Co-op-- it's not as good, but it suffices, and is cheaper.

    I also enjoy English Breakfast.

Edit: And this stuff-- this stuff tastes like love <3 (link)

The tea happens only occasionally for me. I drink what's offered.

Despite my flowing verbosity online, in real life I suck at speaking. This is mostly because I'm a very hateful person and I like to keep my poison to myself.

I'm kinda ugly. Then again, you might already be aware of that.

I like to hang out with people who are my intellectual inferiors because they make me feel good about myself. That sentence was not meant as a subtle insult :p.

I don't celebrate 90% of whatever holidays are traditional.

not to sound too much like a tron.. but i use Firefox with adblock, and i don't have a firewall. i scan for spyware maybe once a month, and i usually don't find any.

firefox is like mithril chain mail. IE is like a soggy cardboard box on your head.

oh, habit? i hide in the closet, for up to twenty-five hours a week. i feel a lot safer there.

I want to get some now! Believe it or not, they don't really carry Assam normally in the USA stores, so I will go on a hunt, but if I can't find it I will get some online. They have Twinings, but the usual stuff, you know, English Breakfast, which is fine. I actually got this Twinings Lapsoung Souchong, (?) tastes like smoke! Very unusual... I sort of liked it, but it makes my apartment smell like it is burning down!!!!!

OK one more tea question: Do you like tea with milk or cream? Lately I have been using cream which is fun, but I think I like a mixture of milk and cream because cream is SO rich, just almost too rich....

i have problems with the store in the link. firstly, they list cookies. cookies? they're biscuits! biscuits i tell you!

plus they list jacobs not mcvities jaffa cakes. did jacobs bake a 12" version to take to the house of lords to prove it was a cake, not a biccie? no. the us are getting inferior jaffa cakes, and i must protest.

    i like earl grey tea

Eh, I prefer just milk. In a day, I have on average ten to twelve cups of tea, so cream'd get awful expensive.

BRITFACTBURST: Over here, we tend to drink tea like we breathe air-- pretty constantly. It is a massive part of life; it is customary to offer guests a cup of tea (whit you probably know).

What you may not know, on the other hand, is the exact schemata for a 'cuppa tea' exchange-- a typical example of which follows:

(Brian and his wife, Laura, are entertaining their new neighbours, Phillip and Alice for the first time.)

Brian: 'Hi, Phil, Alice, do come on in. D'ya want a cup of tea?'
Phillip: 'Ah, thanks, Bri. Two sugars and milk, please.'
Alice: 'Yeah, that'd be great, thanks, pet. Do you have any Earl Grey?'
(Brian and Phillip both laugh a little.)
Phillip: 'Earl Grey? Aren't we posh today!'
Brian: 'Bloody hell, you must thing we're right upper class. I think Laura picked some up the other week while it was on special. Lemme have a look.'
Laura: 'Does anyone want a biscuit?'

    Notes:
    1) Brian offers tea; he doesn't ask if they take sugar, milk, etc., and doesn't offer the Earl Grey Laura picked up the other week. This isn't impoliteness-- he knows his guests will request their desires...
    2) Just like Phillip and Alice do. Phil asks straighforwardly 'Two sugars' (it is implied white, as no bugger'd desecrate it with brown) and 'milk': This implies a median amount of milk-- he could also have asked for 'a spot of milk', 'a splash...', 'a little...', 'a fair amount...', or 'lots of milk', or said 'I like it milky.'
    3) Alice requests Earl Grey. As most people just go for Typhoo or another type of standard tea, Alice's request is made light of (politely): any non-standard tea is seen as 'posh'. Heck, even Phil jokes about it to his wife. It's not seen as impolite to request it, though.
4)Laura offers biscuits. Ask what you like of tea, but we'll offer you biscuits.

The tea will be served in individual cups, with a tea-bag: only connesuers bother with tea-leaves or a tea-pot. We just go tea-ag, hit with hot water, milk, sugar, stir, take out the tea-bag (some people like to leave it a bit, like me) and serve. Joy <3

Well thank you!!! How posh you are!!! That was very nice and informative!!! When I visit Lord and Lady Colegrave in Kent I will know what to say!! (Seriously I have stayed with them twice. They don't use a tea pot, just one of those plug in things that heats up water fast. They don't have those in USA, which is too bad, because I LOVE THEM!! I just heat up water in a kettle the old fashioned way)

One more tea question (will they ever end?):

You say that you just use a tea bag, but IF you ever use a teapot (which I really should buy soon, because your link has the Assam in bunches rather than in bags),

so if you use a tea pot, do you actually HEAT the pot first, and if so, what kind of pot, ceramic OK, metal?

And the water. I have heard that you are supposed to start the water boiling from COLD water, not from hot. Probably not that important, but just wondering...

I know what you mean, I was dieting for my photo shoot, and I swear I got TOO skinny, now you can see my ribs, just too much dieting. But now I am used to not eating, so I am not hungry.

I am actually using cream and whole milk trying to ADD some weight...

But my hips and thighs look GREAT skinny, just around the shoulders and ribs a bit too skinny. It's a trade off, what is worse, flabby thigh or bony ribs?

Joy <3
