Default the happiest day in my life

Okay, I'm such a videogame nerd, that some of you might not understand what I'm so happy about.. anyway, since I'm still kinda stunned, I'll just copy&paste from my LJ
    flatline!!!1~ Oct. 8th, 2004 @ 09:18 pm

First off - I'm glad I can still type, my heart's racing like fuck for the past 20 minutes.
I got it.. no, let me start at the beginning.
There's a game I'm hunting for about the last 4 years. On ebay they kept trying to sell two versions of it for the numerous times without access. One version was japanese, the other one, english, lacked the 4th CD. Both for way over 100 bucks.
Today I had the sudden idea to look at amazon, but they wanted to sell it for 497 squids, which is a little too high for me. So I went over to ebay again. ebay was suddenly very nice. An auction about the game, 9 minutes left, 91 bucks, complete in english, PAL, all 4 CDs, with cardbox, top quality. I so placed my bid and stopped to breathe. I cannot describe the pain and fear I felt in these few minutes, which seemed like years to me.

    8 minutes left.
    6 minutes left.
    5 minutes left.
    2 minutes left.
    1 minute left.
    11 seconds left.
    Congratulations!

I won the auction. I haven't been this happy in my entire life (no offense, whoever might take it). Owning this game was the biggest and last wish in my entire life. Fuck your well payed job, screw your happy family, forget your big car and your last holidays in the carribean. I'm about to hold the greatest dream of my life in my very own hands soon.
    Curious what I'm talking about?
    Panzer Motherfucking Dragoon Saga!
    Panzer Hellraising Dragoon Azel!
    Panzer Bloodsucking Dragoon RPG!

    Oh lord, I'm still shaking..
Only problem I have now is, that I'm flat broke after paying it.. but who cares, I'll never eat again anyway.
    PANZER DRAGOON SAGA :D :D :D :D

    Post Scriptum:

    That's so me, right now...
Sorry, just had to share that :D :D

The funny part is, that I've seen three auctions in total on ebay germany, where the game was a little under 100 bucks..

I get that feeling a lot, mainly when I find a handpainted thingumejig from 1925 for 1.50 or a very rare postcard for 1.00 and no one else seems interested.

Whoa. You are a bigger freak than I am. Video-game freak, that is.
I might get he-bitch-man-slapped for saying this, but that's one game I've never heard of. But, then again, RPG are my thing.

... except for anything ending in "... Tactics".

It's like the best RPG ever released on Saturn. Not that there were many, but that doesn't make that title smaller.

Congrats...I sold my copy of that game years back when demand was insane. It's a great game that really needs an official sequal in terms of the RPG genre...the shooter side of the series had a great one with PD:O

Agreed. Although, please on GC. I have neither money nor space to get an XBox.. on the other hand, I'd need one for Fable.. it's a cruel world :\
