So... Ice Skating isn't something I'm good at..

Well I went Ice Skating with friends last night, for the VERY first time... Found out, I'm not good at it. I fell... and my left leg went under me. I could barely get up even with THREE people helping me... I dont remember falling at all though =/ Nor am I concussed. So I have a sprained ankle, any home remedies for this??

Now for some good news... I found out my dad has some Depeche Mode CD's which makes me happy

First and last time I went ice skating was at a place called Billingham Forum in Yorkshire. Managed to get the skates on with no problems; did my teenage girl in her first high heels walk to the edge of the ice and sped across to the otherside (well, practically) on my ass. Every other visit (they were mandetory) I either played squash miserably or watrched the other brats enjoying themselves from the cafeteria.

I remember going ice skating on a field trip with my school back in the day. One of my friends couldn't stand up, and other one managed to slice open his leg and there was blood all over the ice, which he wasn't aware of.

i was good at rollerblading as a kid. so ice skating i picked up qwick. you wont spran you ankle using hockey skates. better luck next time. If you even try it again. As far as home remidies. Ice it and qrap it up try not to movce it or walk on it at all for a week or so. Thats the best i got. Or you can try to walk it off. Thats what i do but im crazy.

I'm so crap at ice skating or anything that involves coordination actually last time I went I could have sworn that I broke my thumb it hurt so badly. I'm scared to go now especially after my friand told me about this boy when they were on a school trip and he slipped over and someone else tryed to avoid hitting him by jumping over him and ended up slicing his cheek right through to the bone ouch!

Last I checked, which was 2-3 years ago, I wasn't too bad. The skates were dull but I managed. Fun times....
