I'm always irked by politicians at election time, because I know that what they're saying isn't going to happen. Once the election is over, it's different, then I use the local politicians to get things done in the region which I (and a very few others) wish to see completed.

Religious nuts on the tv. Caught the ghod channel recently (nbc, fortunately only on for an hour or so once a week, and I wasn't near the dreaded box for longer than a minute, honest).

I must admit that I am less irked by Martha Stewart (we never did get her programme syndicated over here, thank heavens) as by the fact that she serves time and those from Enron don't.

Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, and any other telefuckingvangelist. Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Joe Scarborough, PETA (I'll have that steak medium rare please) I find the president cute like a 5 year old paraplegic with down's syndrome is cute, so he's not annoying.
