Any folks here into Julie Brown? I used to hum that lyric about "shower or suicide/what'll I do" every morning on my way to various jobs. I have a really super duper dark sense of humor and I think that always saved me. I'd be driving to work and thinking, if I drive off the highway into a tree, I won't have to go. But the thought that I was thinking that would amuse me enough that it would cheer me up enough to make it there.

The absurdity of human existence ever give you enough of a giggle to talk yourself out of self-harm?

It is what will get me thru the nest week. I'm watching a band of criminals steal an election from people I love and just can't stop laughing! Human nature is so fickle and needy. Power never satiates itself. But they will never stop us from fucking in the snow. I'm going to reread the Pyrrhus mythos, I think I'll be watching it play out with much glee! (pyrrhic victory - actual defeat) This is the the best post you've ever made. Thanks.
