Default Hands up: who else is totally lame and sitting home on a Friday night?

    "I said hands up..."

    "We heard you, Rik."

I'll laugh if I'm the only one.

I spent half the night cleaning up sound files, and the other half working on flyers for my band, while they're off presumably having a good time, god DAMN them.

C'mon, folks...make me feel a little better about working when I should be out acting like a rock star.

I am here with you, working as well. Honestly, Friday night just means stuff is more crowded, to me anyway.

Im here since I still dont have a full driver's liscence yet (Money, as well as hating to drive cars in most cases)

Also, this town of lehigh sucks, and I only have two friends anywhere nearby in this town, and they cant make it, since one friend's car is broken, and the other is supposedly on vacation with their mother.

If I had the option, I would be hanging out with my friends, playing games, watching tv, making jokes, and chatting. Or we would be going to strip clubs or movies, etc.

OK, I feel a little better, but this is still a far cry from the hookers 'n' blow I was promised for being one of those creative types. It's more like tuna fish and ramen.

Who else is out there? Holla!

Wow, and this ramen sucks, too! I don't think I've ever had a bad batch of ramen before! Calgon, take me the fuck away!

You could call an escort service?

Dude, with what money? My car needs a bunch of work right now, so the escort budget's been allotted to other areas. The "hookers 'n' blow" I spoke of were mostly figurative anyway. Mostly. >:D

Well, If I was there, we could hang out and watch a movie or tv or something. Or we could play games like Chess, 40K or video games.

Not sure what you like to do for entertainment.

    You can't get that delivered?

Well, I'm taking a sanity break before I go into round two of sound file editing. Have Muse's "Absolution" on (see "CD player" thread), and I just finally got around to eating something, maybe 8 hours after I woke up. It would've happened sooner, but I *really* need to go food shopping and I didn't feel like doing it in the middle of the night on an empty stomach.

As for what I do for fun usually, the answer is "not nearly enough". I like reading, watching movies, playing video games, LEAVING MY GODDAMNED HOUSE, and of course listening to music among a bunch of other things, but my schedule lately has me either focusing on what needs to be done for the band and a few different web sites, or procrastinating while trying to motivate myself to work on that stuff, so I'm basically a slave to the new idiot box for at least the time being.

Not this week I can't. If I wanted to, I'd have to call Fred Berger and bug him for money. *snicker*

Oh boy, Macaulay Culkin and Hitler's rotting skull, sounds like a party. (where is my puking smilie, damnit.) No, I'm just sitting here drinking beer and eating badly freezer-burned strawberry cheesecake icecream, and working on netly projects.

Sounds like you need a game of 40K to make you feel perked up.

Ooh, ya know I don't think I gave you a puking one in my list of smilies to add. Back to the grindstone . . .

Man, I haven't thought about the photoshoot with Macaulay Culkin and Hitler's rotting skull in a long time. Wonder whatever happened to Andrew . . .

Well I went check out a new Goth-Industrial club last night. Unfortunately, it was definitely not the best I have ever been to. 2 DJ's and only one kinda rocked...the other totally sucked. Not many people there as it is a big concert weekend here (no one good actually) plus the anime convention is happening. Downstairs was trying something new, have rap-metal bands perform so guess what kind of crowd that drew. Hoping next week is better.
