    Default Thrift Store Goodies

I just went to Value Village last night... first time Ive been to this one, considering i just moved to Toronto... and I found the greatest pleather skirt! and for only 2 bux!
plus I got some really cute fuzzy black earmuffs for a dollar. and there were some long trenchcoats my boi was looking through.

I love thrift stores because if you look hard enough, you can find some fabulous things!

Curious to know what anyone else has found~

i like to go to the goodwill shops.
its hard to say my best finds, i go to tons of thrift stores all the time.
i like going to them, cuz u can find stuff to cut down and stuff and not have to worry about ruining something expensive. u can also get lots of cool fabrics and prints for quilting and such.

They are nice places to keep an eye open. I haven't been to the ones near me in over a year.
(My wardrobe is too extensive as it is..)

I haunt thrift shops, secondhand stores and anywhere that has stuff aside from clothing. I'm always hoping to find books, cards, letters, pictures and whatevers for my collection which other people don't value, or don't appreciate the value of.

Well the thrift stores in Manhattan are SUPER expensive, actually cheaper to buy new stuff. But once I did find this black satin evening gown with Swakara lamb tufted outer skirt, it must have been couture. This dress must have cost thousands of dollars and I got it for $5.00!!!

Unfortunately my boyfriend (ahem) ripped it...

I love salvation army and goodwill. You can find so many cool fabrics. I like to alter my own clothing, and thats the best way to do it on a budget.
