what's up with this "xtian" shit? is it blaphemous to say christ now? or is it because JC wants to share the spotlight with xtina (formerly christina aguilera)?

Calm the fuck down. It's just shorthand. Lately I've heard that's gaining popularity on the Internet.

congelo? favorablemente bastante ser o no ser. El fuego se quemara y derretira siempre el que consuma. Un nuevo comienzo a un viejo extremo..

I look at it as pigeon holing because of the conotation associated with being considered a Christian band or musician. By saying that you're a Christian musician there's an implication that your lyrics or music would in some way be related to Christianity. That's why it's the title of the genre. Regardless of what the group is going to be singing about there is that assumption. So even if it's not true, that's the public's perception. And if a Christian group does only sing about god that seems strange to me why they'd want to limit their subject manner. I'm not saying they shouldn't. I'm saying it's strange to me I don't understand why.

My point is the title innately confines the groups by pigeon holing them. I'm not necessarily saying it's a bad or good thing. (Despite my earlier hyperbolic comment.) It just confounds me.

no, fuck you. I am calm. just because I use the work "shit" doesn't mean that I am agitated, it's a very versitle word. assume makes and ass out of you and me. I don't assume that just because you don't like to type out real words that you're lazy, that wouldn't be very nice, would it?

Ukrainian is the official language. Many in the east use russian as their primary language.

oh man i have to say i own 2 christian cds... each cd i bought for a particular song... and its just so annoying how the whole CDs are just talking to god...and if you read the lyrics when they are talking to you, it is You...and everything is about Him and it gets annoying because perfectly good music has been ruined with a message that i cannot relate to because the situation is not about me it's about god... they are all love songs to jesus which reminds me of a funny south park episode which is sooo true.

heh. ever see a TV series called Monkey? based on the book by Wu Cheng-En? it kicks ass. when a fight is about to start, and Tripitaka (played by a woman, i understand) shouts "Monkey! No violence!" you know the Great Sage Equal of Heaven is thinking "Fuck you, baldy."

it has some great lines, too: "It is a far, far better thing that I do now... than you ever did."

Satan is part of the christian pantheon. fuck him and the White Christ both. i didn't ask for that sacrifice, and besides, it has been repaid a millionfold since then.

It's not just Christian pop, though. They have incorporated Christian rap, metal, rock. etc. almost every genre they can come up with. They have this theory that they can indoctrinate people to there belief system through different types of music. It's quite humorous to hear a metal hardcore band grunting about christ.
