Ok, First Topic to start:

Who are your favorite Characters?

Mine are: The Elves and the Dwarves, but Legolas and Gimli if I had to choose. **

Gandalf definitely. There is much to be said for a cute suit of armor but wisdom is better and leadership is very attractive.

Id have to go with Smogg. hes plain and simple just a badass old man. Erm... dragon.
Gimli, in the movie, was a disgrace to what is commonly reffered to as the "fantasy dwarf", becasue it morphs rather quickly into the "tolken dwarf guy". Not to say I didnt like the movies, but it was a little extreme.

Ther are other characters, but theyre not from the hobbit, or the trilogy... sooo Ill leave it at that.

He still kicked alot of ass, but instead of making jokes about him beinbg short every ten minutes, why not make jokes about the ambiguity of the elves sexuality for once? Or anything else, for that matter.

Something like this would bring balance to the force;

Gimli, muttering: thats the way you elves like it, I hear...

I always thought he was a really interesting character in that he was really mysterious. I'd like to know more about him. If he was so important as to be the mouth for sauron then why wasn't he given a ring along with the other black numenorean kings?
