I don't know how I feel about this rash of bumps.

No, I don't mean some weird STD, I mean the forum topics. Although I should probably get that looked at by a doctor.

I've been told I'm mindlessly romantic.

I don't know what that means, but I disagree on principle.

2005? I don't think this thread has fermented for long enough. Someone put it back in storage...

Romance ought to be either dead or eternal; nothing less would suit the picture.

if romance is dead, then i never would have gotten a live yellow rose bush for my birhtday over sushi breakfast. my hunny is a hopeless romantic, and it's rubbing off on my in the weirdest of ways.

If romance weren't dead, yellow roses surely ought to finish it off something quick.

(No offense to you of course keiko; merely indulging myself with the pretense of an aesthetic highground.)

i know i'm weird. roses are like the only thing that look good in yellow, and hence are som how my favourite because of the contradiction to the fact that yellow is otherwise ugly as sin on everything from houses to ferrari's. it's just me being contrary.

Contrariness justifies itself; no further explanation is necessary.

i feel the same way about yellow. it's only good in nature. pretty wildflowers, mostly.
not to fond of yellow roses unless it's the ones with the pink on them....

I don't think romance is dead just yet. The difference, maybe, is that now that people don't have to go through the motions of traditional romance in order to find a boyfriend or girlfriend, a lot of people just stopped. The only people left who buy roses and open their lover's doors are the people who really mean it. Maybe it's a good thing?

I used to be a hopeless romantic. Then after enough of life's bullshit thrown my way, it all kind of became deadened(is this a word) inside me.

i thought the little death was "love"

as in "10 seconds to love" ?

    La petite mort

(wow i even found a wiki link on it... but not posting cause Amelia will wait till after my surgury and then likely entice me to meet her for coffee where in my weakend state she will beat me....)

hmmm... wait a minute would that be so bad?
