Coke or Pepsi?

In the tradition of the Dr. Pepper thread . . . A lot of restaurants will give you one or the other of these beverages, depending on which they have, no matter which one you ordered. Do they taste the same to you or do you have a preference?

Coke...I dunno why but I think the advertising got to me in some way that I rarely buy pepsi.

I can taste the diffrence though...Pepsi always tastes sweeter and less carbonated than Coke to me.

Even though I get sick when I drink most of those types of drinks, I would say that Coke-A-Cola is better by far, but Pepsi has a better PR Department.

yeah, but enough of anything can cause serious illness - even water. Personally i don't take the news too seriously especially CNN. It seems to be worse than most at propagating a culture of fear if you take my meaning.

i used to drink pepsi only at sporting events. the extra syrupy-ness prevented my being hoarse in the morning. I will preferr coke, but dr pepper, and when i could get it, Surge, were my poisons of choice.

Personally, I like both of them, depending on my mood. They are distinct in flavor yet close enough to do the trick.

I like them both and can't say which one I prefer. I know that doctor's used to say that Coke was worse than Pepsi (who knows by how much) and that Pepsi helped with upset stomachs. I think Coke is a much better mixer than Pepsi.

Vikings? Oh, yeah, they were big in the 70s, but there really not the Football team they used to be.

Shasta has nothing on Faygo, in my opinion. That's totally like Diet Rite or generic brand soda where I am (25 cents or less). Still, I do like Shasta, wish they had a Mt. Dew knock-off like Safeway (Westen U.S. Grocery store chain) Select does.

We drink danish beer mostly, I suppose. they have some.. intresting alcohol laws over there. And they have some great stuff over there if you wanna get smashed quickly.

Well, we have a king and stuff but he doesnt do shit. Basically just sits there and smiles. Gives all the swedish teenagers to get pissed at. So I suppose CIAs right (damn!). In a way.

Pripps? Nah, theyre really not that good. Spendrups or Falcon is better.

I really prefer PEPSI. coke doesn't make it...and any light version is bad too.
