Default Photo shoot tips heeelp meee

Okay so when I get back to Svannah, GA a firend of mine, Kitty and some of the girls from the Club One gothic industrail night want me to do a photo shoot with them. Now I only do photography as a hobby and It won't be a professional setup, just them me and my Fujifilm S5000 Digicam anyone have any suggestions?
Oh yes this is the girl who asked me to do the shoot and the main person I'll be shooting I'm guessing, as we haven't hashed out the details yet. From what I know it will basically be her and the head dom at the club.
Kitty is the on always on the right. Thanks in advance for any help

I think that the backdrop plays a big role.

    Go scout locations now.

    Look for good backdrops.

Sometimes simplicity is better than the obvious.
Like a lot of amateur photo shoots in cemeteries, etc, look, well, amateur...

Or... if nice simple backdrops are hard for you to find,
try shooting mostly in the dark. With controlled light sources.
    Don't use flash!
But put lights that you can control.
Sometimes just a friend on a ladder with a flashlight will do the trick...

Experiment with a lot of kinds of lighting, a lot of backdrops,
and shoot a LOT of pictures, and you will likely get a few good ones...

problem with this is that it may take place during one of their performances at Club One, should have mentioned that, so i Will have no control over the lighting at all and it tends to be fairly dark. I may be able to do a shoot with just the two of them outside of the club someday, but for now i think that they want some of their actual performances shot. And for all those simply viewing feel free to comment on kitty lol. I'm also wondering, if it is in the club how best do you capture moving things. Someone suggested experimenting with shutter speed?

Kitty is a pretty one isn't she. Why don't you rent a professional flash, it might help with the lighting if its really dark, other than that use the motion capture feature, the darker it is the harder it is to capture movement so u might need that feature

I have absolutely no money at all, I'm not even getting paid to do this shoot. Plus anything like that is very expensive, they jack up the prices because they know we have to have the stuff for our classes at college. But yeah I'll try using that, hopefully i can find a tripod by then...somewhere ><. My one gripe about fuji's digicams is that if the flash isn't on it's near impossible to get a focussed picture, why the flash and focus have any corrilation I have no idea.

But yes Kitty is pretty lol, the first night I met her she pretended to be my girlfriend because some guys were bugging her. So that was fun, I pretty much see her whenever i can afford the $3 it costs me to get into clun one on thursday lol. And I would get a job but as an international student I'm not allowed to.

I think you get cooler looking photos when you leave the shutter open.

They you capture the motion in a cool blur...

But if you do that method, you might want to bring a tripod, or if you don't
have one, use a broomstick. Just something to keep the camera steady...

Turn the flash off, and hold the shutter open.
You will have to experiment with timing.
But you can get some cool motion that way.
If you use flash, especially in a club, it sure as hell won't look
artistic. It will look like a cheap snapshot. If you do have to use
flash, another idea I've used before, is to diffuse, or color the flash.
By taping colored gel, or paper, or other diffusion on top of the flash.
That way you get the extra light you need, but the light can be blue,
or red, or any color you like. But you'll need to track down some gels...

Good Photos...easy, just be naked. Even the worst picture looks good if the subject is nekkie.

i love you lol i never thought of doing that to the flash, and while i believe i can slow the shutter spped, i can't control it other wise as mine is internal as it is a digicam at least that's how fuji works

lol what's amusing is before we went upstairs in club one and took those two pictures there the girl on the left christina had on black lipstick >< lol Kitty insisted that chrissy show her what those sharp canines she has could do and Kitty ended up with a neck smudged with black. I just realised this fact and was lmao
