Candies,Drinks, Brands You miss?

I really miss P.B. Max!

That brand of candy bar was the best type of Chocolate/Peanut Butter Combo, followed by Reeses.

I dont know what happened to them, but it would be interesting to find out.

What are some types of discontinued Candy, Drinks, Etc that you all miss?


(For a Side note: Peanut butter may taste ok on burgers, but is kind of odd on steaks.)

Oh, they were usually just different kinds of gum. But, every once and a while you would find something that was like a chocolate covered malt ball (between 5 & 7 little ones) or little strands of licorice. At Circle K I remember getting them from the bottom racks of the candy section. They would sort of be in these small bins. I still have dreams about that believe it or not.

Some similar stuff now is the 99 cent Candy, that has similar stuff, like those BubbleGum Peanuts, Licorice(sp), Chocolates, Pixie Sticks,etc.

Oh, Charleston chews are around, just like Moon Pies. Where I live we have all the things you listed above. I wonder if it's some type of marketing thing.

I'm also reminded of New Coke in the 16 ounce cans. I actually liked that stuff. Boy, talk about 80s on that one.

Dont remember the company that made them...but the rootbeer flavored bottle caps....They were great...

You can get candy cigarettes in the uk still, but they are officially 'candy sticks'. they all have hyper anti smoking names like 'attack!'. you have to see this packaging. my favourites have to be 'Old Toad' but unfortunatly you only get 8 in a box. no fair.

Yep, standin' at the bus stop in winter with a candy cigarette. I convinced a bunch of Mormon kids once that I was actually smoking, to their shock and awe.

Exactly. When I was a kid I would dress up like a hobo or Groucho Marx and my mother would buy my three from a costume shop called the display house. Later, I would use the pink ones suggestively and be in awe of the neon green ones. Strangely, I never "smoked" a brown one

if those candies still exist some where then i need to bust the balls of th emarketing department. i can't find them anywhere. like i know lemon heads exist still but i gotta go all the way to this rinky dink little gas station in northridge to get them... gggrrrr.

yeah that hi c was awesome i think it was called ecto cooler and it was orange flavored even tho slimer was green

I don't think they had those round 'bout my way. If they had caffeine, they were a perfect accompaniment to Super Mario Brothers, along with Pot, Meth and Crack (if you're from the 80s, when we used to cook it in our attics, not basements, thank you very much).

you have not played a mario game untill you play while siping on a luigi berry flavored soda the only thing i hated about them is the small cans wich were half the size of a regular soda can

i have had a zagnut bar. does any one else remember the little honey candies that were filled with "milk"? i think they were either called bumblebees or Milk and honey drops... some thing like that. they're another one of my fave candies that i have to drive like 45 mins away to find...
