Grats BC!!! Raising kids can be really tough but they are worth it I have 4. Their father passed when they were only 7,5,3 and 1. They were the only thing that kept me going. I'm very proud of all of them and love them dearly.

Thank you BC. They are 22, 20, 18 and 16. I've been in a relationship the last 4 years but for the most part I raised them alone - with a lot of loving support from my folks and sister. The most important things I learned about having kids is 1) Give them everything they need but very little of what they want (makes for unspoiled and independent young people); 2) Love them with all your heart and always let them know you do - even when you have to be tough with them (sometimes tough love is the right way); and 3) Always keep the lines of communication open.
