The Worst Rock Stars Ever

It's a fun topic that comes up every couple of years after the Music industry and pop culture has had time to overexpose and crush artists new and old. While articles like this are stacked high just about everywhere one of the more interesting ones popped up on SomethingAwful.com. Granted the site has the reputation of well...living up to its name but for me at least I get genuine gut laughs out of its content. I've always liked it's style of humor and the community it has it quite possibly the most evil ever to be collected in one spot...and devilshly good with photoshop.

Amoung the staff writers is good ole "Dr. David Thorpe" who's "Your Band Sucks" articles are some of the most hilarious peices of music commentary I've read in a while. If you haven't read any of them...give em a shot. His most recent tackles "The Worst Rock Stars Ever" topic and really got me thinking on it....along with wondering who all of you feel are some of the worst rock stars ever?

I definitely agree about Good Charlotte and Fred Durst.

Thinking specifically about "rock" stars though, i would have to say the first person that comes to mind is Ozzy Osbourne. I love the old Ozzy, but he is really awful now. Now, if you're talking about pop music, i can add a shitload more.

- 50 Cent, P. Diddy, Nelly, Ashanti, Jah Rule
- Creed (they broke up - YAY!)
- Jessica and Ashlee Simpson/ Hillary Duff/ Fefe Dobson
- Blink 182/ Sum 41 (almost all bands with numbers in them)
- Metallica (post Napster)


Okay, i have to stop now, because i could go on and on and on...

Maybe i should go more controversial for the site and name some goth and punk groups i really hate. It's been a while since i was dogpiled.
