What magazines or periodicals or books would you want on your coffee table to represent you and why?

There is a lot of stuff on my coffee table, amongst which dwells Boris! There are copies of Patrick the Wolf Boy as well.

Albert Camus expressed the genesis of my own worldview. I'd have to have him (even with the mega-cliche represented by seeing "The Rebel" on a coffeetable.)

I would get the photos of me toying with an eating a popcicle as an infant. I am hoping to get similar photos of me with my nephew.

no coffee table here, come to think of it I can't remember a coffee table in my life

well I guess I sort of did but it wasn't really a coffee table, or maybe it was....all it had on it were drugs, maybe the odd pizza box and empty popcan

Only things that are ever on my coffee table are drinks, my laptop, and occasionally my feet.

i actually have 2 coffee tables, one communal one in the living room and one in my bedroom.

the communal one is strewn with empty crisp and sweet packets, dirty glasses on simpsons coasters, an eggcup ashtray and 3 candle filled wine bottles. I think the last harry potter graced its surface for about a minute on saturday evening.

my bedroom coffee table says much more about me i think. At the moment on it i have;
all my usual ornaments (a money jar, a kokeshi doll, charity badges, a lego ron weasley, a glass coke bottle, 2 teddy bears and yet another wine bottle candle), 3 notebooks for when university restarts,
my nintendo DS,
numerous pens and bookmarks,
a copy of crime and punishment (barely read),
a stack of books for my dissertation (focussing on huxley and orwell),
and an offers leaflet for my local supermarket.

i think that all that rubbish hopefully conveys that i like pretty things, i like to read and hunger for knowledge of literature, and that i keep house (ever watchful for bargins in order to cook good meals and basically emulate a perfect housewife!)
