I used to think about that a lot. But, I still don't know, actually. And now I'm thinking about it again. I write fiction from time to time and I still don't know. I do believe in "just right" but never "perfect" for anything in my point of view. So, that's really tough.

I've that octopus eyes evolved in a similar way, as human eyes. And I've also read that the octopus people gained alot of intelligence and will maybe rule the world in a few thousand years. I'm a huge H.P. Lovecraft fan, I like that idea.
