Ma'am- I lived there ages ago -probably in the Jurassic era- attended SD State when there was literally one punker on campus who was stared at like Dorothy after she landed in Munchkinland.---
If you weren't blonde and tanned you were a freak -an idea I bought into which has had such wonderful health repercussions decades later later..
Although I think once the Hillcrest gay scene picked up momentum-people who weren't rednecks, surfers or volleyball players began to feel less out of it...P.

i was born and raised in Sierra Vista, AZ...... a tourist town with all resturants... and nothing really much else.... so its a little better in CA having more to do.... but other then that i dont really get out much more or less.....
