Default Is Christmas a family time for you?

Is Christmas when you spend time with family or when you spend time being pissed off about family-related issues?

I have family stuff all weekend. Today, to my grandparents (my mom's side) and to my moms. Tomorrow to my dads, christmas day at my inlaws. Busy Busy Busy

I went to my parent's for sunday lunch (which turned into an informal Christmas lunch, since I won't be going there on the day.) I'll be spending the actual day with my wife at her mother's. I avoid my parent's on the day, since I have 5 siblings, who each have partners, and there are 5 nieces and nephews. That's 15 people, not including my parents, in a 3 bedroom house.I am not going to add myself and my wife to the equation.

Me and Rob and his mom and his aunt 2 uncles, a cousin, significant others, four cats, two lizards and a bunny all in the same house tomorrow night. Luckily the Elf still thinks I'm in Europe. My Dad is in Colorado and my grandparents are in Ohio or we'd do a big holiday thing which might just make me stab a few things. (I realyl don't think I could take my Aunt for more than a day)

... i just had a horrid though. my aunt and rob's aunt -- getting along. the too most drama inducing opinionated busybodies i've ever met under the same roof. <shudder> I can't wait till next week when the "family togetherness time" ends and i can go back to ignoring the extended family for another 295 days. greedy beggars, only come 'round when there's gifts to be had.
