    Default Oxycontin withdrawals!!!

So I ummmm..plan on going to re-hab or whatever program I can go to for my Oxy habitual use, any else here got any first-hand experiences on that or other methods to go abouts it? I've only been using since August, and I'm only up to 90mgs to get a good high, and 120mg to get an awesome high! But after thist last illicit Dr.s visit, I plan to stop.

Street prices get expensive yo'. In the Westcoast each milligram is .50 cents and in the Eastcoast it's a dollar a milligram. I've had some fools try to get me to buy Oxy from them, here in California, for a dollar a milligram. I laugh in their face, "Bich-- we're not in NY!"

    so yeah

I'm not sure we're allowed to talk about this on the main board... but as long as the threads here...

wow... $1 per milli? good thing i never got it that cheap or i'd be headed to rehab too... i think $2-3 is more normal now-a-days but i dont partake anymore so maybe that's outdated.

anyways you say "only 90mgs" but damn... that's a pretty high tolerance you have built up imo. I cant offer much advise outside of the main one in trying to kick any dope / painkiller additiction.... wean yourself off gradually. I'm no expert but that worked for me... cause stopping cold turkey just hurts too fucking much. Personally a little drink and smoke help too... not enough to make you say fuck it and get high, but at least to help mellow you a bit.

I wish you stength and good luck... you can do it

um...... yeah Thistle stopping takes self control and desire above all I would imagine, and patience to deal with the ongoing cravings. From what I hear there is a lot of pain associated with withdrawals from that particular drug as well, so some advice from a professional would do ya good! Hope you are doing all right with it and I wish you the best of luck! I have never had an identical experience but did quit meth pretty much cold turkey, that was extremely difficult.....

Muchas "grassy ass" I did quit meth cold-turkey myself after an overdose and OMG that was the most horrible thing to date! I'm thinking about going to this pain specialist dr. that Rx's you some pills so you don't feel sick when you're not high...gotta get myself to her, after my Rx is over with.

    How about this?

Chronic Oxy abuse can lead to very sudden, and irreversible deafness.

Deafness? Really? I never heard that, but I've never taken Oxycontin. What a freaky side-effect.

    Good luck, Thistle. *hugs*

Yup. In fact, when that fat fuck Rush Limbaugh suddenly went deaf I said "bet the fucker's addicted to Oxy."

    Sure enough.

I have not taken any drugs like Oxy myself, or any drugs at all, really, because I've seen it around me all my life, people I know, friends, even family, develop serious, debilitating, and life-threatening addictions.

That being said, all I can offer is hope and support that you can pull through this.

You can do this! Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise!
It's hard, there will be shit do deal with, but keep focused on what you really want or don't want.

Best wishes and do it!...you know you can.
