<rant>...If someone asked for permission first. I've been doing graphic design and programming for a breath shy of a decade now, and it never ceases to amaze me when you make something, something you like, others just might like it too.

Like it enough to use it without bothering to ask. I guess it could be taken as a form of flattery but sometimes, I would like to have someone ask. You know, 'Hey man, I dig that, mind if I use it too?"

I think most people just assume that if it's being used then its available for use. I like to keep my work and self unique; something that most others wouldn't make. I like using colors and imperfections that make my work different from others. And when I use the work of others, or am inspired by them, i always ask and give credit (if need be).</rant>

I'm sure BB has had to deal with this shit b4.
In fact most people involved in online projects probably have. I learned from being the Open Source community that giving credit and simply asking goes a very long way.

and actually I couldn't even have cared about getting any credit, aknowledgement, or whatever, it's when it gets turned into a big pile of shit, that really got me
