The shaved off eyebrow thing....??

KK. I gotta admit i kind of like the look but a lil too chickenshit to try it myself...and pretty sure with black hair/white skin i'd have 5 o'clock eyebrow shadow lol. What is everyone elses' take on the matter? Real eyebrows? Or draw on?

What I do, and have also see other folks do, is in-between. Tweeze a lot, but not enough so it looks like you are eyebrow-less without it penciled in. The line you leave can help guide you when penciling so you aren't uneven (which is an extreme pain in the ass) and shouldn't be noticeable (or is easily concealed) if you're not drawing on it if you're doing dramatic brows.

I shaved mine for many years, but my real eyebrows are really light and thin so it wasn't too much of a change for me, except when I drew them on black, hehe.

real all the way. definitely. for some reason shaved eyebrows make me cringe. and they look very unnatural too, which is something i really don't like. why mess up a pretty face?

Mine are all natural, despite my wife's best efforts to pluck them. I may be blonde, but my family trait is blonde hair and dark eyebrows. My wife shaves her's off, since she has red hair and her's are so light, they don't show. She then draws them back on again each day. She would love to get them tattooed on, but UK rules on facial tattoos and cost make it prohibitive at this time.

Yeah those are my thougths exactly Willow...i've been told i had really good eyebrows but i like that doll look. =) I like the halfway idea Alias mentioned...and hey if i screw up they always grow back .

I prefer eyebrows. If I am doing something where I sweat they keep it out of my eyes. I did shave them once but that was cause my mother lost her hair to kemo.

i wouldnt be put off a beautiful woman if she had drawn on eye brows or o-natural, guess its what u think looks best and ur comfy wit, bt trial and error gonna be a bit un-comfy im guessin wit gettin how u like ur eyebrows, best of luck, im sooo glad im a guy n hair isnt something we have to worry bout all that much, cept, do i shave, do i cut, and fuck weres it gone im bald!! lol

I think it depends on the person, really. Probably not everyone looks good with drawn-on eyebrows, just like not everyone looks good with bright red lipstick. I have a friend who has drawn on her eyebrows for years, but I'll never do it simply because I'm too lazy. I usually don't even wear makeup...

I think its more trouble than its worth. I mean, you're gunna have to keep them up almost everyday for them to stay clean looking. If you're trying to go for the idea of any shape of eyebrows anytime you want, you can always make your eyebrows a little thinner and cover them up with a pencil. Plus, you can alternate colours easily as well. I say dont do it, because I've done it and I missed having a part of my face when I washed it at night hehe

Shaved mine for a few years and I will just say...they are there for a reason. I was in many bands and sweat in the eye without that buffer zone of eyebrow+make up and hair shit all gooped together...ow. Burns just remembering.
