    Default Southpaw Discrimination Society

Any fellow lefties out there? Raise a glass to our brutal predicament I've been calling around for guitars today. I had forgotten how averse folks were to us of a backwards stringin' persuasion. I'm even having to get a nylon string rebridged. The guy chimed in with: No guitar teacher will teach classical leftie. They no like us! My right hand is now my left and my left hand my right!

Next: I won't find a McCartney Bass Leftie: Oh wait, it already happened!

I'm no Hendrix! I can't play the suckers upside down! I'm not even a "real" guitarist! Ugh. (add profanities)

I feel for ya hon, my dad's a leftie. He expounds upon his backwards existance at length, mostly at meal times though. *hugs* Could be worse, you could have two left hands.

Rob has chimed in with " Just accept that you'll be one of the better finger-ers in the world, you'll just pick a little slow."

Bwahaha It's really not that bad. I just wanted to score a nylon string over the weekend. I'm ambidextrous. I write right-handed. Dunno how that worked out. Ugh. I just drove a good 50 miles though. Queasy.

haha it's not *that* big of a deal. The thinking backwards part becomes fun after awhile. I'll never sell my soul to "righty"! Never!
