Yeah, hi. New guy here. *points to self like an overly proud 4-year old*

Since I just registered. Thought it would be a good idea to post a little self introduction to the community and say a little bit about myself.

I come from the US but now I live in Japan. I used to be an art student in college (graphic design then Fine Arts) then moved on to Computer Networking. I quickly got bored with that and dropped out of college all together. From there I rushed off and joined the Air Force about a year ago. Its not my calling in life but I'm here for now. Current project for me is trying to teach myself to play guitar.

Well, talking about myself is not something I'm particularly good at so that is enough for now.

I highly recommend it. Point of advice is to definitely avoid any area of Japan with alot of American military though.

One of my good friends is in Japan in the Air Force. His wife was medically discharged while they were there, so he joined up so they could stay.

Hey man, welcome to the boards. I'm in the army myself, though I'm in aviation. Now I'm so tatted up I couldn't get into the air force if WW3 broke out. Unfortunately, I can't get stationed anywhere cool, so I'm stuck in Iraq again.

I'm working on getting orders for Korea so I can take 4 days to Japan, Thailand, China, and Philipines. That or going to Honduras. Either one would let me finish out my contract without a 3rd deployment.

Oh, and I'd rather have an FNG than an FAG (not a gaybash) even if you are an AFW. Think that's enough TLA's?

Btw what kind of martial arts have you gotten into. I have dabbled a bit in Taekwondo and Shotokan myself. Nothing more than the basics though

On a lighter note. I have a buddy back in the states that will not touch any other alcohol other than Guinness. It is Guinness or nothing. He would always say that the slogan "Guinness is good for you" was and is true. One day we were talking about how unhealthy beer is for you and I mention Guiness and he quicky juts in "But, Guinness is good for you!" So, I ask him why he believed this to be true. Without a moment's hesitation tells me, "Because it gets you to Heaven quicker." Crazy fucker.
