Default Did you all love Mister Rodgers tooooooooo????

When was the last time you thought of Mister Rogers???

Mister Rogers was my favorite person on television when I was little. He always had a cardigan on, a super friendly voice, and some sort of lesson to teach. When he died I was pretty sad, although there were no tears (I swear!!!!)

Did you all love Mister Rodgers tooooooooo????

    MISTER ROGERS YOU'RE THE BEST!!!!!!!!

Yah I liked Mr. Rogers. I don't know if a biography has been written about him, but one should be. I liked Captain Kangaroo also. Pass on Bozo.

Here was a good kindhearted man, a minister of religion and a Ph.D who really wanted to make a difference in the lives of children everywhere, and succeeded.

Calm, kind, patient, a complete and utter role model, dignified and educated.

His kind does not walk the earth anymore.

Never cared for Fred Rogers' tv persona, but, I think that's because by the time I saw him, I was in late childhood, and related rather differently to him than I would have as a tot.

He had the perfect demeanour for relating to young children, and, like the late Bob Keeshan(aka Captain Kangaroo), he cared deeply about children's television and its impact on young folks.

Know little about him in his off-camera life, but he seems to have been a gent, and such folks are always relatively rare. That is why they should be prized, I think, because they try to live their ideals, and because that isn't as common as I, or others, would like.

Have had the good fortune to know a few such people in my life, and I hope the rest of you out there know at least one before your time among the living ends.

They are a joy to behold.
