My personal favorite are bears. Grizzlys, black and brown. Kitties are good on a pet level, but I feel connected to bears more on a different level.

I used to like dogs more, but I'm kind of a cat person now. Something about the attitude cats have, like "you need me more than I need you." It's just funny as hell.

Arachnids. I once had a pet Tirantula that lived to be nine years old. He was very friendly. I used to walk around with him on my shoulder.

I love the exotic Mexican/South American bird the Archaeopteryx, it is such a beautiful bird that can swim, fly and climb trees. A lot scientists are into it in regards to bird evolution and dinosaurs, but it is just beautiful to me.
