    Default Home Remedies?

Syrup and Cabbage suppsosedly cures either gas or hickups, forgot which.

Soda is supposed to settle a stomach, although with some people, makes them worse.

Hydrogen Peroxide is supposed to be good for cuts, scrapes, and ear itching type stuff.

Any remedies you can think of?

Those actually work, but I forgot how to do that, although I was refering to cutting a potatoe open and using it to remove a broken light bulb.

Not really a remedy...But My mom always told me that if you are keeping flowers in a vase of water to put one or two pennies in the water...It will keep them alive longer...Dunno if its true ...I have never gotten flowers like that..

Any kind of bug bite or bee sting - make a paste of warm water and baking soda the concotion draws out the poison and reduces swelling.
Ginger ale or pickled ginger to calm upset stomaches.
And Old fasioned root beer barrels to sooth chronic sore throats.
Those are the ones I use with disturbing regularity...

Painful, but apparently Works: They have controlled Bee Venom Injections, as it was found out several years ago, that Bee Venom can Cure, or Help Deal With Arthritis, or other Similar Pains.

Would there be any bad effects if you put baking soda in your bath for a bunch of stings?

Hard candy, and not the "dad's old fasioned" or "A&W" either. The ones that come in a white paper sack that are actually made from the root instead of artificial flavours. The theory is that way you sooth the ache of the throat and don't ingest too much medicine from eating a whole box of cough drops. I've tested this theory. Works for me.

A cure for constipation is to drink a bottle of grape juice.

A slice of gingeroot boiled for stomach cramps or being with any type of upset stomach, it works fast. Drink it warm like a tea. You can find gingeroot at any grocery store these days.
