Default Happy with The First Half of '07?

I have to admit some of it was painful, but I'm really happy with the decision I made in simplifying my life. I feel relaxed and look forward to each day. This was not always the case in '06 and during the transitions I had to make this year.

How would you rate your '07? I'm giving mine a 10 due to a catharsis on how I want to live and the necessity of a "dark period" from time to time.

'07. Has it rocked? Sucked? Why?

it's been really uneventful. on the whole it sucked more than last year, and I am finally feeling like I am an adult, which isn't a good thing in my mind because it means dealing with responsibilty of things that I don't neccesarily care about but are forced to deal with instead and no longer having fun or being motivated to do stupid things and take the risks that reaped the close calls and good times of my youth. I never seem to be able to relax enough to the point where I no longer want or need to take relaxtion time so it translates to not doing anything every chance I get to the neglect of things that I really want to or should be doing or need to get done.

Responsibility for things you don't care about? IE Finances I'm guessing. Adulthood is overrated. I don't think anyone really "grows up".

I get the same impression. so why all the emphasis on it's importance? the world would be a better place if it was run by kids.

Good question. I'll go with social mores for now. Will go Holden Caulfield with it another time. Adulthood is bullshit though.
