I have a headache that just will not quit.

yea ive had one going on 3 days now. it seems to diminish enough when i take 3 ibprophen, at least enough for a little while. ive also found that if you lye down with a cold washcloth over your eyes it helps. ive had migraines since i was 12 and thats always what works for me. if it still wont go away, id go see your doctor. i did and it seems doctors love to give out painkillers to be rid of headaches.

Vicodin.

Actually, I have had some bad headaches lately, and I used vicodin to clear them up.

Grab a big chunk of hair,and pull it pretty damn tight....

now go in a circular motion with it,and keep the pressure the same....

Chew some gum and drink heavily for about an hour. eventually your jaw will hurt but your headache will go away. the drinking is to make you not care that your jaw hurts.

learned this from a karate instructor, between the thumb and index finger,find the pressure point , and rub it firmly, but not to where you feel a lot of pain, take about 2 minutes and switch to the other hand, and it should help

Amelia, if you have had it a long time.... something is wrong. Go see a doc. It could be a long migraine. I had one that lasted a week. They gave me some IMITREX...I stayed in the hospital for one day (they had to give me 3 shots and they also gave me demerol) and it was gone.
I just worry as I had an aunt that had bad headaches and they just found a tumor in her head...so go get checked.....I worry.

advil allways worked for me.

soluble co-codamol, followed 2 hours later by 400mg ibuprofen, followed 2 hours later by soluble co-codamol... repeat until better. always works for me.

Well, Im not a Doctor but Ive played one in my back shed. Ive come to the conclusion that most headaches are from poor blood circulation and the best thing you can do to get rid of a headache is....... have an orgasm.
I can provide such services for a small fee or you can use other means to relieve said tension.

I've actually found saunas and a bit of detoxification to do the trick. A question for you: do you experience more jetlag going west to east than vice versa? I'm hatin' it after the flight out last night. I felt great when I got to SF however.
