Hey everyone, yep in case you didn't know I'm new, my name is Dean. You guys seem pretty friendly that you think people should all introduce themselves so yeah maybe you people will be my escape from the ones I surround myself with at the moment Well... about me, I'm a bit of a social outcast because everyone at my school hates me for some reason. I try not to let it bother me so yeah, that's life I guess. You guys probably know what I'm talking about (no offense) and it would be great to know each and every one of you. lol I often think of myself as a white sheep in a flock of black sheep . Well, let's see... I'm full into writing I guess; I really enjoy it because it's the only thing I've been naturally any good at and I really want to make a career one day as an author. It will always be the dream, sitting there thinking shifting a slinky in my hands... (reference to secret window). Yeah if anyone wants to know more.... lol..... I'll be happy to tell all.

hiya, so you like writing huh? what kind of stuff? i am a "maudlin poet" myself. my few attempts at fiction have been really short but evocative. ive taken a few creative writing classes over the years and reccomend looking into some yourself, if your serious about writing. theyre a great "ego-check" to have others critique your work. but alas, alot of the ppl in those classes are just "casual writers" with very little talent. a great source for new ideas tho. im a bit of a "idea vampire" so i like to leech thoughts from others....

hiya, so you like writing huh? what kind of stuff?...

Well, yes I do like to write a bit but I do profess I don't spend every waking moment of my life reading and writing. I would like to be a proper author one day and I have a few good ideas for some books, but in particular I would have to say that time travel paradoxy is what fascinates me... For example, I'm talking about Wells' 'the Time machine' and perhaps 'Back to the Future' if you're that way inclined. I like my idea and I'm not sure whether I'm going to blab on a forum all of my A-Grade material but then again one of the benefits of being Australian is that we don't have to even pay for copyright! As far as literature goes, my idol would have to be F. Scott Fitzgerald because I love his style and the way he uses symbolism, euphemism and even character; I try to adopt his style to a degree but I don't steal it per se.
