Gamestop is the SAME COMPANY as EB and Barns and Nobel (which means I also get a discount on books! Yay!).

I start Sunday. I'm so happy to have a real job. Like one with a sched and a regular payday and regular pay and a (not too strict) dress code and A/C!

This guy asked me where he knew me from, my usual answer of "everywhere" made his eyes go wide and his jaw drop like a stone. I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me. Thank god my manager didn't ask what that was all about.

I'd be happy to have you working in the local branch of Electronics Boutique (AKA GAME over here) We just get chubby sweaty geeks and skinny Chavs that think they know more than you because they've worked in the shop for two hours, (and spent most of that time talking to their mates)

Very few girlies work in the game stores over here, probably because most British geeks (like most geeks worldwide) turn into gibbering wrecks when they see a female, especially if the female exhibits a remote amount of knowledge in the field that the geek is specialising their geekiness in.
