I am a regular poster on a number of forums and the Blue Blood Community is hands down the best, the most intelligent and oddly the most friendly. I say oddly because a lot of the people here are very aggressive in persona, but they seem to really get along incredibly well in this venue.

I was commenting to Forrest the other day on exactly that thread because I am pretty aggressive but I like things to be nice. I'm really happy that this board has turned out so awesome and positive, but it is kind of funny that we don't have the stupid flame wars other boards tend to have when threads like that demonstrate how brutal things theoretically could get. Forrest's reply was that "an armed society is a safe society."

I agree Amelia. I have seen some of the most disgusting displays of human behavior using the medium of print on a BBS. Goths and punks and similar ilk, are known for aggressive and somewhat anti-social interactions with your average people groups.

To me this shows that -just because we tend against the norm- that doesn't mean we're idiots or assholes.

One has to keep in mind that their is an honest respect for various people who post here, so that helps keep things civil and friendly. Added to this is the fact thier is no need to boast or act fake...it'd be easily seen through. When you gotta be yourself it makes it very hard to act the fool. Not that some haven't tried...but overall it's evolved quite nicely for such a short period of time. I'm curious what this place will be like a year from now.
