Default Fresh flesh.............(Hello all, I'm new)

I have just joined this wonderful site, so this is my intro, epic and mighty!

    Not. Really.

I'm yet another of the world's "misunderstood" and very happy about it. I like the fact that my appearance will actually keep people from talking to me because if someone wants to judge based on my looks only, I probably wouldn't enjoy talking to them anyway.
I've been sporting my mohawk almost exclusively since I was three, when my mother (wonderful woman that she is) to me to Haight Hair in S.F. for my very first haircut. Upon leaving I threw a big 'ol temper tantrum that my mom wouldn't let me dye it green.
I've still not dyed my hair green to this day.
I would go ahead and call myself a Metalhead, although I'm a fan (at least to some extent) of every genre of music that exists on the planet. Some get less of my attention than others, but that just happens, yeah?
I'm attending school at Southern Oregon University, majoring in the classical guitar, hoping to someday have a wicked aweXome band and tour the world. Yes, when I dream, I am high.
I perhaps watch too many horror movies, especially of the zombie persuasion, but I'm also known to watch chick flicks from time to time, or anything else, for that matter.

...and I just realized I've typed more than I wanted so I'm done talking about myself. I'm open to pretty much anything, and if anyone wants to know anything, don't hesitate to ask.

    [peace]

Road Warrior fuckin rocks. I wouldn't mind living in that kind of setting either. It'd be great. I'd even have my own fortress.

Umm...28 Days Later. Yeah. Definitely. I liked 28 Weeks later, but it doesn't really hold a candle to 28 Days...pretty much I just like Imogen Poots. Poor girl...that last name. I have nothing against it, but I imagine if she had grown up in the states she would take a lot of flak. Oh well. She's got the most beautiful eyes ever. Ever. And her first major role was a Zombie movie. Does it for me.

I also really like a movie called Undead. Very much a B movie. Anyone heard of it? Seen it?

As stated before, I'm a fan of anything that has zombies in it, so I loved it. Australian indeed, won a few awards, nominated for several.

    Great movie though.

One of the few horror movies where the main characters actually do things right. Gory. Cheesy as hell. Zombie fish.

    I love it.

I love 28 Days Later. I actually haven't seen the sequel as of yet. I heard it wasn't a bad sequel, just that it basically was just more on the "same".

I have heard of "Undead", but haven't seen it either. I'll have to rent it.

I just started watching "Diary of The Dead". Got about half way through it so far. Not bad....I'm a big Romero fan so it's hard for me to put down any of his movies anyway.

    Romero...yet another of my "heroes."

If that's what you want to call him.

    Genius, either way.

He's coming to a horror Con in October about 3 hours from where I live. I really want to go meet him, I just don't have the funds for how much the trip would cost(hotel, gas, fee to get in...blah, blah, blah)

I actually sent him an invitation to my wedding because I knew his winter home (at the time) was only about 30 minutes from where I live. He didn't show, of course, which didn't surprise me at all...But it would have been the shit if he did.

That's why I didn't like it so much. They change it up a lot, actually. The only way you could call it more of the same is in that it's a sequel, so they have to stick with what they already set up. What I didn't like was the presentation. In 28 Days I thought the cinematography was better, more zombies (even though they aren't truly zombies, but I won't get into that because I don't want to spoil it for anyone that hasn't seen it....), more, well...better...character development and the music was more fitting. They also brought...outside players into the second one, and I didn't like that.

Both movies are good, don't get me wrong on that, I just didn't like...certain elements of the second one. But now that I'm actually thinking on it (mind you I've only watched the second 4 or 5 times versus...I don't know...41, 42 times for the first one) I like 28 Weeks more and more.

...I think if Romero showed up to my wedding, my wife would want a divorce right on the spot.

Cuz it would take her 45 minutes to do what Romero could do in the first 10 seconds that I was in his presence: Cream. My. Pants.
