My whole family has nothing, but Boston "terrors" for about the last 40 years. These picture are of my sisters dogs, Maggie is on the left she old and blind the white Boston is Daisy and the rescue Boston Archie. Which we are all trying to find him a good home.

i have 6 horses, 3 pit bulls, two turtles, and an iguana. i had 2 cats but they just sorta disapeared. they were either eaten by a coyote or run ove rby someone somewhere;_;

I'm UNFORTUNATELY pet free right now, for like, the first time in my life.

I LOVE animals, of ALL kinds, but I'm partial to reptiles.

I don't think you should call your cats pets if you they're just outdoor cats that you don't really take care of on a daily basis..just my personal view on that. If that was the case then I have like 7 cats..

Mystoo- I had an iguana that I trained. I had him for about 4 yrs. His name was Tyler. He roamed the house most of the time. He went to the bathroom and ate in his cage and the rest of the time he was usually sprawled across the lamp that was by the couch. And everyone knew not to eat their salads on that side of the couch because Tyler would leap across and jump on the plate. During xmas he would mostly stay in the tree. I guess he liked the warm christmas lights. I miss him. He traveled with me quite a bit to.
Mojo is a very pretty iguana. A beautiful green. Is he already trying to escape? Has he hit you with the tail yet? Those tails can hurt.

Awesome, and funny you should mention that. He's just recently, like in the last few days been trying desperately to get out of his tank. As you can see in that last pic. I want to get him a little lizard leash so I can bring him out and get him used to being around people more. Plus I feel bad having him confined like that.
He's pretty good so far, meaning he hasn't whipped me yet. He usually lets me pet him unless he's in a mood.
How long did it take before Tyler was cool with just hanging out and not freaking out? Any tips btw?
Mojo is pretty cool looking though, I find myself staring at him a lot. He makes some pretty funny facial expressions.

It took Tyler about 4 months before he was cool with everything. I had some friends stay with me (suppose to be a week that turned into 2 months, but I love them still) so he got used to others being around. When I first let him loose on his own I started in the bathroom. A small room so I could watch where he liked to hang out. Then I moved him to my bedroom and put the things he liked in the bathroom in the room so he could have something he knew.And just slowly added rooms on. I did have a leash for him because I liked taking him with me places. I think like most animals once you have a connection with them they are loyal and trusting.
Tyler only whipped me when I had to put him in his cage. I NEVER let him out when I was not there. He would see me coming and then run and whip me.
I do miss him.He was cute and funny.

1 crazy dog ... who I love more than anything ! He's some sort of pitt bull mix I got from a rescue.

I dont own them but the people I live with have a blind dog named trouble, a rabbit that roams the backyard called misty, 2 axolotals called Gunner and Clyde and one Yabbie I named Emmet.

One "fierce" Dobie: Lena wieghing in @ just 90lbs purchased from a breeder in Idaho that KNOWS how to raise 'em' right! Although when she is NOT protecting my humble compound she does have a tendancy to become a 90lb lap dog/ball of mush who refuses to bark @ the mail man???? go figure!

My platoon adopted a stray cat out here. We decided on the name Rabies Infested Kat Numero Uno. Usually shortened to simply Rabie Baby or Kat. It still doesn't come too close to us, but it (yeah, not really sure the gender thing) does come close enough to eat whatever we grab from the chow hall for it. Usually tuna salad or just bags of tuna, anchovies, sardines, and salmon that people have sent out here to snack on, or a mouse we happen to catch. It makes a pretty cool mascot.
