What is a good price for passports?

You'll need one if you intend to travel so you need it before you go anywhere...

you have to have a passport to go to most places (there are a few where you only need a visa) and getting one can sometimes take like three months esp nowadays so you should rpobably get started on applying for it

it doesn't take that long to get one, you can pay to have it done quickly. My fiancé got his passport in a matter of about two weeks.

depends where you live, to obatin a passport you have to make sure your clean, no debts or anything like that...no unpaid fines or outstanding court apperances...
