Why with the Manson hate? I mean, sure, he's so full of himself, and he has this image going on that a lot of people don't agree with, but it's his mix of "Love me/Fuck you" attitudes is what draws me to his music.

I'm not a Manson-ite, but I'm a firm defender of the right to listen to an artist, regardless of his/her attitude towards humanity as a whole.

Example? Jhonen Vasquez, the creative genius behind the JTHM series, along with I Feel Sick, Squee, Fillerbunny and even the Bad Art Collection, all of which I own. He has greatly influenced my art, and I own all of his works. However, I went to a convention, met him, found out he was a dick. I read his livejournal page, and he is a complete bastard to everyone of this race. However, this does not change my attitude to his art. It's still good art, regardless of how asinine the artist is. Same goes with music.
