That is so familiar, yet I cant seem to recall the artists.

Some cool artists like that were Dhurer in some of his work, and Also Bosch's Garden of Heavenly Delights.

Another awesome artist , even though that type of art is kind of different, is De Vinci.

Where have you been? We have missed you here on the boards.

    Hi Zoe,
I don't know if that can be helpful to you but I'm a french/dark occult artist and I 'm deeply involved in the alchemic/occult/LHP milieu. Check my web site on my profile and see if anything (paintings/collages/digital art) can fit with your site.

Oh god, my favorite is the books of photographs of prostitutes in New Orleans, in the olden days when it was legal. Very dark, very decadent, but cool, almost dreamy, sepia toned photos. Can't remember the photographer, I have it at home, I will post later. I have these on the walls of my boudoir!

I can't let an art thread go by without giving a nod to Mark Ryden

A man obsessed with Christina Ricci, meat, and those wierd stuffed animals with baby faces. Definately worth a look. Also, if you get a chance to see his paintings in person check out the frames. I would murder friends and loved ones for some of those frames.
