Crappy picture, but part of my garden is starting to disappear:

And all the children are piling out from the neighbouring houses with scarves and mittens and begging for more to build the first snowmen.

My backyard. It goes down a bit further and to either side too. That wooden thing right at the front is a climbing frame I put in a few weeks ago for roses, which I'll out in in March or so.

The funny metal pipe on the right hand side is a waterbore through to the groundwater. We could put a fountain there, but I tend to use the water for the garden. Lots of plans (only been here since September).

Three hours after I posted the snow had gone again. Just as well, since I had to drive to a party in a near by village.

How can it freak you out, when you've never seen it?

    The world needs to know!

Yeah definately put a wickid fountain there. while doing that you could always split the water line and still have a hose hook up or which ever you need for water! Fountains rule! especially evil 19th century ones that dead people rise from!

Snow would be a welcome change from the rain of Fla and the dry of LA. I was born in the snow. Well in a hospital but it was snowing outside.

Yes, there's a vegetable garden right at the bottom of the garden, behind the last hedge. Perhaps I'll do it too...

We've degenerated to rain now, which means ice on the roads each morning when I get up to drive out. Not fun.

It looks really nice. Do you have any flowers planted? I could definately picture a nice looking white or red rose bush there. My grandma has some planted in her yard along with some lilac bushes. In the spring it makes everything so pretty.

I don't grow anything yet, since I've only just moved in. However, there are roses and a healthy vine alongside the house.

I haven't had a chance to grow anything as yet. My last house didn't have a vegetable garden, and I only stayed there fore a year before renting it out. Artichokes are reasonably robust things, so I shouldn't have too many problems with them, and a few other things which I plan on growing; everything depends on how much time I have though, I'm already making entries in my appointments book for April ...

There's a terrace right here in the front bit before the grass starts which is about four metres wide.
