i have DSL and i havent had 56k since it was made available in my area back in 1late 1999, i couldnt imagine a world with 56 modems still i dont know how people survived back in those days just going through diferent pages in the same site was a hassle. I can t wait till faster modems are invented that blow DSL and Cable out of the water

I don't get it. I have dial up. it takes about 30 seconds max to load a website. it takes about 5 minutes to download a song, and about twice as long as the length of the clip for video. I'm usually online for about 2 or more hours a day. you do the math... shit! I better go get a connection that's 178 times faster!

Well I work from home so I can't afford to have a slow connection...when I'm sending a 200meg file or downloading a 500meg one...the longer I wait means the less time I have to work.

Plus since I'm a PC gaming junkie a cable connection is a must...and I like downloading porn at blazing speeds! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I just got setup on a Wireless Internet Service...3Meg Pipe pumped straight to me Router...

I LOVE BANDWIDTH!!!!! & now I have shit loads of it..

I was on cable but it got slow B/C I live in a decently populated area and most everyone around has Cable Internet...So The more ppl who got Cable the Less total Bandwidth there was to go around...And being that I am a Bandwidth Whore it sucked...So I switched...

you missed the point.if i'm online for 2 hours and it takes me 5 minutes per song then that's 24 songs, roughly the length of 2 standard cds. if you're downloading 240 songs, then you're probbily listening to shitty music, as there are no more then 500 good songs ever made.

theres this thing jamie is getting... i dunno if you can get it everywhere, theres probly different versions of it all over the place... but here its called 3web... sposed to be 3 times faster than dsl or anything hehee... and lots of bandwith to play with!
