    Howdy, Recipe Whore! ;-)

    Here is my all-time favorite Christmas recipe.
    I think some people may freak because of one of the ingredients (LARD!)... but to omit/substitute it screws up the entire thing. You only live once, though... might as well enjoy yourself :-)
    I'd cut it in half, too. It sorta makes a lot. I'm too tired and lazy and suckity at math right now to do so... haha

    Biscochitos* (Mexican X-Mas Cookies)
    * Also slang for a woman's hoo-hah, :-D

    3 c sugar
    3 c LARD (mmmmmmmm!)
    4 eggs
    3/4 c vanilla extract (or brandy)
    3 tsp. anise extract
    3 tsp. baking powder
    9 c flour

    Roll dough out flat, use cookie cutters of choice, sprinkle one side w/ cinnamon and sugar
    Preheat oven to 375, bake for 10-12 minutes.

    Brazilian Hot Coco

    This is a creamy and aromatic hot chocolate, and even if the proportions seem a bit strange to you, don't worry - they perfectly evoke warmer climes…

    Ingredients and preparation for 4 bowls

    1. Melt 250 g (9 oz) of chocolate in 500 ml (2 cups) boiling water;
    2. whisk in:
    * 1 litre or 4 cups of very hot milk
    * 200 g (1 cup) sugar
    * 125 ml (1/2 cup) very hot strong coffee
    3. once the sugar has completely dissolved, serve immediately.

    orgasmic *drool*
