Default The Evil Yahoo Spam Filter

That thing that will let some exiled prince from Nigeria ask for your bank accny # but swallows important emails from hosting companies about your website etc, you know what I'm talking about? It's got to go. Away. Far away.

I totally agree with you... but then again I could give you my e-mails, which are full of spam... mighty spam... wonderful spam, mighty spam...
Sorry.. A wafer thin Monty Python moment...

Yeah, it's a major pain in the ass. I feel like if you want to sign up for an opt-in newsletter, your mail service shouldn't block it. I believe in personal filters, not system wide filters. They are too easily abused. I've been enjoying Thunderbird for checking my mail accounts lately. It has a decent spam catch system that is pretty intelligent and customizable.

Yahoo often blocks mail from me.. no matter what account i mail from
often because i am responding to people who lost their password
Yahoo probably thinks people should not get their porn site passwords

Ever since earlier this year, when Yahoo decided to delete all of the vhat user rooms and such, many sites and groups on Yahoo have had this trouble, My groups I belong to and own there have had nothing but trouble since then. Some of Us there feel that before long, Yahoo will totally delete anything of a "Adult" or "Alternative" theme

I had that problem for a week, evilvampire69s Id was deleted till I got ahold of customer service reps and ripped into them about it, and got back all I had gained(almost all anyway) in less than 24 hours, and lost only a quarter of My contacts since I had them saved on a different email service

Yeah I had a similar issue...turned out to be an annying case of Yahoo's over sensitive case sensitive nonsense.

I hate Earthlink's spam filter. It won't accept any emails unless the account holder approves it. So a lot of times, I have a hard time reaching my friends if they have Earthlink accounts. It won't even take it into a bulk folder; it just sends them back unseen.
