cant take the ginger anymore hehee... i think im pretty much done with the nausea though... really hoping anyways

I know something that will help you get over being sick...

first go in to the bathroom, get nekkid, and take a 30 minute bath, with water almost too hot to get into... then walk around in the tub singing Show tunes from crappy braodway plays.

It will have you laughing, and you will forget you are sick.

i actually have to make another drs appointment... apparently im sposed to go about once a month or so? so yeah i have to make another one, but im not sure if ill get another ultrasound... i had my first one about a week after the first drs appointment.
it looked like a lima bean! haha!!

Yes, and you aren't supposed to take a bath when you are pregnant last time I checked. I suppose all Dr.s may say something different in regards to bathing as opposed to a shower.

My gorls Ultrasound is on the 30th, and well we are still trying to decide of we want ot know what the little thing is...

Why can't you take a bath? I would think it would be soothing?

I did some research and I guess it has changed since I was with child. Here are some guidelines:

Doctors used to worry about infection, but now baths are considered safe during pregnancy.

Steps:
1. Be especially careful getting in and out of the tub, especially in your last trimester. Your center of gravity is out of whack, and you're prone to slips and falls.

2. Consider waiting until someone else is home to help you in and out of the tub.

3. Avoid overheating. Run a warm (not hot) bath and don't linger for more than 10 minutes.

4. Follow your doctor's advice about bathing if you've already lost your mucus plug or your membranes have ruptured.


Tips:Light a candle or add some bubble bath.

Warnings: Avoid getting uncomfortably hot. Extreme temperatures (most experts say over 102 degrees F) aren't safe during pregnancy and have been linked to birth defects.

Steer completely clear of hot tubs while you're pregnant. They're much hotter than your bathtub.

yeah hot tubs arent good cause they dont cool down over time like a bath does... thats why i think baths were okay. baths though are fabulous, i think im gonna take one real soon cause the back of my pelvis HURTS so much omfg... feels like massive growing pains. freaking oww...
