eh, i actually never had a labor pain or anything, it was a completely painless birth, recovery sucked, but I think giving birth wouldve been worse for me...

This is how I induced labor at home with my last baby (Alexie).
Well needless to say once 37 weeks came around I was just tired of being pregnant. My back hurt, my feet were swollen and I had just had enough!
I talked to my doctor and he informed me that if the baby were to be born now the baby would be considered full term, and in my case the baby was fully formed.
So I started reading up on ways to induce labor. There are many wives tales and remedies out there. Such as, herbal teas, and incresed activity.
Well I tried the herbal teas the blue/black cohosh tea.
IT DID NOT WORK!!AND IT TASTED REALLY BAD!!
So I kept researching and read about CASTOR OIL and ENEMAS.
I know it sounds horrible and nasty. LOL!!!
But this is what I did.
1. 7PM- I administered the enema (Fleet Brand)
2. 7:30PM- I took 2 ounces of castor oil. (can be found at pharmacy)
Then I waited, within an hour I was starting to have contractions. They were not regular more like braxton hicks. They were not painful at first. By 12:00am I was able to time them and they were becoming stronger.
At 7am I left for the hospital.
I was 4 centimeters dialated and the contractions were about 3-5 minutes apart. By 10am they tapered , so I decided I wanted to go home with the doctors blessing.
I went home and had breakfast. Then I took the other 2 ounces of the castor oil.
Within an hour I was in full labor. The pain was unbearable!! It came on suddenly and very very strong!!! I could hardly walk. Thank-God my husband was home from work. It was time to go back to the hospital!!
I got back to the hospital around 12pm and Alexie was born at 1:15 pm.
So that is my story. It worked for me maybe it will work for you.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO ONLY ATTEMPT IF YOU ARE FULL TERM WHICH IS USUALLY 37 WEEKS UNLESS YOUR DOCTOR LET'S YOU KNOW OTHERWISE.REMEMBER THAT THE BABYS WELL BEING AND SAFETY COMES FIRST!!!!
WITH THIS METHOD LABOR CAN COME ON SUDDENLY AND STRONG. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HELP IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY!!

and castor oil... um... ive heard scary stories about castor oil. haha... thats like last resort stuff for me... but yeah most likely ill be too lazy to do anything and itll just happen on its own hahaa...

oh yeah and by now... sex is totally freaking uncomfortable IT SUCKS *cries*. hah then again... everything else is uncomfortable too... so yeah. wouldnt make a huge difference right about now hehe...

SOOOOOOOOOOO i just talked to the people at the hospital... im 3rd in line today, so i could be getting induced around 3pm at the earliest this afternoon, providing they dont get a huge rush of women come in already in labor. in that case it could be tomorrow morning. so yeah.

ahhhh okay so... went there tonight... got checked out and everything (painfully... ouch) everything is all good but they were super busy tonight at the maternity ward, so they dont want to stick the inducing-labor-gel in me and then have me come back 3 hours later in full labor and have nobody available to take care of me... SO! they told me to come back in the morning. when they SHOULD be less busy. so yeah. fun.
im gonna eat, then SLEEEEEP... i got about 2 hours of sleep last night cause of massive heartburn... it sucked ass. so yeah... boo.
