Default EGL Fashion in Progress (Advice welcome)

Hey... Check out these two dresses I designed of the Elegant Gothic L***** Persuasion. I spent two hours coming up with the concepts and the drawings. The second one came after a bit of feedback from a few EGL communities on the net. So before I finalize any plans. what do you guys think... and would any of you on here actually wear one of them?

They are both relatively the same concept just different versions... Please give me feedback on color schemes I could use or additions or things to take off... Feel free to take one of these.... draw on it a little and repost.

Oh, how you tease me! ^^ I adore EGL.
As far as simply my own thoughts, let's see. I really like the neck wrap, I don't see much of that. I'd wear 'em both in a heart beat, but I'm not a big skull person. I guess I gotta take into mind a lotta folks who would wear them are, and this in particular is tastefully done (I especially like it's placement on the second one). For some reason I'm seeing burgundy when I look at your sketches, which is kinda odd, so just ignore that. The safest route in colours are of course black with white accents, but hey, you can go crazy. I've actually even seen a rainbow one drawn in concept.

Lovely concept. What are you looking to use as textiles? Prints or solids? There are some great prints out there that would make a dress like this look very unique and marketable.

Both look very nice but I find the second one particularly attractive.

I imagine latex and linen, for the first design.
Both are very good, but the second is a little french maidish for me.
    Mmmm, (French Maid fantasy).
    No, the second works.

Hmm... I'm thinking about removing the skull all together on the second one. As far as colors... I might do Black/Pink---Black/White---White/Blue---or a Classy Textile.

When the project is complete I'll post the finished Item. I can make this in all sizes... I just need to know measurements... Right now I am planning to make one for a friend. So I'm not going to using measurements. I'm going to be using her as a dress form ^_^. It's going to be alot easier and once i have it figured out it'll be easier to make.

How about a deep blood red with black & white accents?

That is leaning more towards western gothic/vampirism... This is meant to be Elegant.

I likes..not too sure about the skulls either. But all in all I'm pleasantly reminded of The Story of O girls..anyone,anyone?

I think we should just get rid of bosom section and leave the breasts exposed, yay! (Just a thought)
Your very talented though,I'm jealous, make me clothes!

Lol... yeah, I make clothes just as a past time. But more costumes than anything. I did two fursuits for some friends earlier last year.

Thanks for the compliment, I actually use my friends as dress forms to get the stuff pinned right. so it'd be a little hard to make something for someone that not from where I live.

    Not EGL but VERY HOT.

Love it. I'd definately buy them if I had the cash and saw them in a store.

The first is more along the lines of Punk-Loli deconstruction.
    The second is more Ero-loli.

All the Japanese styles have strict standards of definement.
Most of my attire is Japanese style based. Usually of the Kurori, EGL and Ero-loli persuasions.

    Not necessarily...

Though its rare to mix black and red with EGL, Black and White is the Norm for EGL.

Black and Red or black on black is the norm For Kurori.

EGL or "Gosurori" is Gothic & Lolita.
    Kurori is Gothic Lolita.
Despite what most think, they are two seperate styles.

EGA, Kodona, Dandy, Neogothic, Punk-loli, Wa-lolita, Qi-lolita and and Ero-loli can all mix black, white and deep red. All are Loli styles. Just not specifically EGL or Kurori. And since the two sketches are neither Kurori or EGL, the colors are a great and highly favorable choice.
