    Default New Member Introduction

    Greetings...
    I stumbled across this site and as it looked very interesting and informative I decided to take the plunge.
    I'm in my 30s and a frustrated artist based in Bedfordshire, (UK).
    I'm into all things gothic: music, art, literature, fashion, architecture etc...
    Am hoping to learn about new artists from all genres and reminisce about the old favourites.
    I won't take up any more of your time now but no doubt will run into you around the various message boards.

    Indeed. So far people have been nice to me, but it is only my first day on the site. I remain hopeful. Hopefully you enjoy it here and meet lots of cool new people!

    Old school Gothic : Sisters, Christian Death, Mission, Rosetta Stone, Nephilim etc, through to modern bands like COF,Moonspell,Type O,Ghost of Lemora, Redemption...
    Also partial to a bit of 80s 'New Romantic' & Rock for my sins...

    Wow... a real craftsman.
    Nice to know people still appreciate quality craftmanship
    (Thought Ikea & suchlike had killed such decorative touches!)

    Re: My interest... It's just from an aesthetic viewpoint.
    We still have some beautiful late 12-13th century structures in the UK
    (Salisbury Cathedral probably being the pick).

    Also wish to view the architectural splendors of Prague at some point soon.
