Aw, I'm so 2006, I was looking for a GPS voice-enabled 8703. Both Sprint and Verizon were out of them, even though effing Sprint told me a specific store to go to which had them in stock.

Shucks.. your geek GPA just slipped to 3.9, but you can claw it back if, when you finally get your 'berry, you walk slowly through a mall saying "can you hear me now? in a just-too-loud voice.

If I'm at the point of being told a store to go to, I' never leave my door unless I've gotten them on the phone and asked the magic question "do you, right this second, actually physically HAVE ONE IN YOUR HANDS???". Been caught out way too many times by some gradeschool dropout saying "computer.. says yes..." only to find the store burnt down the night before.
