    Default favourite recipes.

I'm going to be moving into a new apartment with five of my closest girlfriends (and inevitably, their boyfriends and all our addtional friends). The girls and I have decided that we'll switch nights cooking. I don't cook. I have managed to set fire to three different brownies in three different microwaves. I have no idea what to cook or how to do it.

So here's the question: Can you suggest any Tatum proof recipes/ What are your favourites?

Something simple like pasta with creamy garlic or italian dressing, and maybe veggies if you so desire. That's easy because all you have to do is boil pasta for ten minutes, microwave or boil veggies, and poor pasta out of a bottle. Can't lose. While we're on the subject of boiling and such you really can't go wrong with Spaghetti...
I also have some easy recipes for fried fish, if you'd like that

hmmmm i know! invest in a slow cooker... theyre amazing inventions... cheap too, like 30 to 50 bucks for a good little one (look at department stores or even grocery stores maybe)
find a good supply of recipes, chili is AWESOME in a slow cooker... throw it all in together (if theres meat you have to brown it first though) and turn it on either low or high according to the recipe, and leave it for a couple hours YUM!!!

oh edit... GET A SLOW COOKER WITH THE REMOVABLE INSERT!!!! that way you dont have to struggle to scrup the actual cooker... argh! mine is the old school kind... but i like it (still wish i had a removable thing to just stick in the dishwasher though haha!!)

Salad in a bag. They sell those at the grocery store. Buy some ceasar dressing and there ya go. Oh, and canned soup (with grilled cheese sandwitches, or just toast).
Stouffers makes some awesome microwave dinners too. They even come with neat little directions.
Or just make some rice, add some cheese and maybe some sausage, and there ya go.
I'm a horrible cook too, so you can trust my solutions are pretty much fail-proof. Except the soup, don't burn it or it will taste nasty... I should write a book.

Hmm... cooking for 6 or more. I'd say a membership
to Costco, Sam's Club or SuperClub would be a good
place to start. Then there is always speed dial, delivery
food is your friend. Cooking channel and Food Network,
can't go wrong there.. bargain hunt the thrift stores for
a good amount of cheap cookware and old cookbooks.

Best thing would be to make cooking a group event
instead of leaving it all up to one person... learn as
you go... never a good thing to be left in a kitchen
    without supervision.
