Default Boot Camp for Emo Kids?

Think it would make them stop whining and actually do something? I'm thinking of adding it as a plank to my party's platform. We could get a lot of public works projects taken care of and save a lot of bandwidth of bad poetry.

Ah, Lee Ermey as Gunnery Sergeant Hartmann.

The drill instructor that could make you die laughing at his insults for the boots, as long as they weren't directed at you, make you tremble in fear if they were, and who eventually motivated one "fat-bodied" boot to learn marksmanship well enough to kill Hartmann in the head of the Parris Island barracks, where he and said boot were "room-mates", so to speak, using a "Seven...Point... Six.. Two.. Millimeter... Full.. Metal.. Jacket" ammo round.

Can you tell I've seen "Full Metal Jacket" at least a few times????

I think it would make GREAT tv. Seriouslly.

Thick hairsprayed hair all over the barbershop floor. A large bin full of skulls and pirate clothes. Tight pants replaced by BDU's. Emo glasses replaced with..Army Emo glasses (You know what im talkin about )

Ahhhhhh then the incredibly lame comments throughout.

Yeah..that'd be a $ making machine for the right company.

Wish Ann Coulter was in a boot camp, and had to answer that very question.

Eh..let him be who he wants to be. Unless it's harming somebody or himself i dont think anybody should intervein somebody to be something they dont want to.

If he wants to be emo, let him be emo.

hmm hehe. I envision more him being shown the opportunities that exist beyond the mediocrity of pop culture. He will be a smart kid. His old man is Surgeon. We will let him choose, but we will make sure he has the best possible options.

Like I said, I don't care if its elitist or whatever. I believe society has come to the point that he will, in some ways, need to be protected.

well i think they come in two groups, theres the people who genuinely love their music scene, and then theres the ones who just join in because its the flavor du jour, and these are the most anoying fuckwits. But hey they exist in evry scene i know of some folks who think they ar so fuckin goth because they wear stupid white makeup and black lipstick, and people who are " so fuckin Punx" with spiked belts and jackets wich were purchased at hot topic , and we all know how punx that is . So if you're into emo because you turly love the music and the people well then keep on truckin. But if its something you do just to be cool well then do the real emo thing and slice downwards not accross.

haha slice downward. Emo kids don't really bother me as they don't do anything. That is unfortunate. Do I really hate em? Nah. I just like to poke fun at em. I know where it all emanates from haha.

Methinks Morrissey might have been a proto-emo, but, other than that, I have no idea.

Not in a literal sense. I've never met any emo adults (past say 25ish?). I am sure some have the same psychological dynamics though.
